Margovy

Getting started

What is in Settings

Six pages: Wi-Fi and box, QR code, Venue, Plan and billing, Privacy and data, and Account.

Venue settings in the sidebar opens Settings, which has a menu down the left, or a drop-down on a phone. It opens on Wi-Fi and box. The six pages are:

Wi-Fi and box. The switch that turns Margovy on or off, whether your box is reporting and when it last did, your guest Wi-Fi name, and a short list of checks. Turning Margovy off never touches your Wi-Fi: guests go straight online without seeing your page. Support handles assignment, replacement and any re-enrolment, so do not release or pair a box as an ordinary setup step.

QR code. Your code on screen, with Download to print your own copy, Open page to check it works, and a link to order ready-made stands. It downloads as an SVG at its real print size, so it stays sharp however large you print it.

Venue. Your venue name, your sign-in page address, which locks once your sign-in page is live, and your venue size, which locks once your box is paired. On Max it also holds the name your texts come from and a number to send yourself a test.

Plan and billing. Which plan you are on and what it costs, with a switch to any of the three, monthly or yearly. Payment details and invoices, where Open Stripe takes you to a secure page run by Stripe. And Cancel subscription, which is one click. It also has its own entry in the sidebar.

Privacy and data. How long you keep customer details, downloads of your customer list and consent history, and what to do if a customer asks what you hold about them.

Account. The email address you are signed in with. There is no password, because you sign in with Google or with a link we email you. It also links to where review alerts and the weekly report are set.

Old bookmarks still work. Your equipment and Guest Wi-Fi are now one page, Wi-Fi and box.

If this did not solve it

Send us a message. Tell us the venue name and what you were doing when it went wrong, and a person will reply.
