Terms

We provide a branded sign-up page for your guest Wi-Fi, somewhere to see who signed up, and tools to message them. We supply a small piece of equipment that makes the page appear. There is no free plan.

We do not provide your internet connection. If your broadband goes down, that is between you and your provider.

Margovy has three plans, each priced per venue per month: Grow at £29, Plus at £39 and Max at £49. Venue size adds to that: Small (up to about 150m², one floor) costs just the plan price. Medium (about 150 to 400m², one floor) adds £10 a month, and Large (over 400m², or more than one floor) adds £20, because a bigger site needs more equipment. Every venue gets the same box. Medium venues also get a Wi-Fi extender, and Large venues get two. The equipment is included in the price.

Billed in advance, monthly or annually, to a card you give us when you sign up. Your card details are held by Stripe, our payment provider, not by us. Paying annually costs ten months for twelve, which is 2 months free on whichever plan and size you have chosen.

If Margovy is not right for your venue, tell us within 30 days of going live and return the box for a full refund of what you have paid.

Printed materials are sold separately. New customers get £20 of credit towards their first order.

There is no minimum term. Cancel and you will not be charged again. The service continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, whether that is a month or a year, then stops. We do not refund part-months, or the unused part of a paid year.

If a payment fails we will tell you and try again. If it keeps failing we stop the paid features, but we never touch your network and your guests stay online.

You can change plan, switch between monthly and annual, or cancel from your dashboard at any time. Cancelling is one click. We will offer you a pause or a discount first, and you are free to take neither.

The box remains ours and is lent to you while you are a paying customer. If you cancel, post it back within 14 days of your subscription ending. A box that does not come back is charged to your card at £99. If it fails through no fault of yours we replace it free.

Need the Wi-Fi to reach more rooms? You can move up a size from your dashboard at any time: Medium adds a Wi-Fi extender and Large adds two. We post the extra extender, and the difference in price for the rest of that billing period is added to your next payment. To move to a smaller size, get in touch.

Do not modify it or move it to another site without telling us, because a box paired to the wrong venue will show the wrong page.

They are yours. Export them whenever you like. We do not sell them, share them between venues, or market to your customers ourselves.

You are responsible for how you use them: only message people who agreed, honour unsubscribes, and do not upload lists collected somewhere else.

Do not use Margovy to send anything unlawful, misleading, or to anyone who has not opted in. Never offer people anything in exchange for a review. It breaks the review platforms’ rules and can get a venue’s listing removed.

We can suspend an account that does. We will tell you why first, where we can.

We try to keep it running and we will not promise a number we have not measured. If our service is unavailable, your guests still get online. That is deliberate, and it is built that way.

We are not liable for lost business, lost profits, or anything we could not reasonably have foreseen. Our total liability in any twelve months is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you at least 30 days beforehand. Carrying on using it after that counts as accepting them.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
