Choosing your web address

Your venue gets its own address, in the form thewhitelion.margovy.com. Guests see it on printed cards and in their browser.

It is permanent. Once your codes are printed and out on tables or at reception, changing it would break every one of them, so the dashboard locks it as soon as your Wi-Fi goes live.

Pick the name people actually use. If everyone calls it The Lion, use thelion, not thewhitelionpublichouse1834.

Short is better. It gets typed by somebody whose camera would not read the code.

You set it in Settings, on the Venue page, under "Sign-in page address". If it genuinely has to change after you are live, send us a message from the contact page and we will do it properly, including reprints.
