If people sit down and use your Wi-Fi, this works

Every trade on this page has the same problem. Somebody spends money with you, walks out, and you have no way of speaking to them again.

Pubs and bars

The Wi-Fi is the one thing nearly everybody uses. Make it the thing that remembers them.

Restaurants

They took the cover, took the commission, and kept the email address. Get your own list, from people already sitting at your tables.

Cafés and coffee shops

At least get their email for it. Then tell them about the pastry that comes out at four when the place is empty.

Hotels and B&Bs

Every guest joins your Wi-Fi within a minute of arriving. That’s your chance to get a direct relationship and stop paying a booking site’s commission for the same guest twice.

Salons and barbers

That’s two chances a year to stay in touch, and a booking app that owns both of them. Get their details while they’re in the chair.

Gyms and studios

Attendance data can show visits dropping off before a member cancels. Every visit joins your Wi-Fi, so you can spot the drop-off while there’s still time to do something.

If your trade is not listed

Garden centres, golf clubs, soft play, holiday parks, village halls, car showrooms, waiting rooms. If people are on your Wi-Fi for more than a minute, the same thing applies and it works exactly the same way.
