Spa day follow-up emails that respect the visit

A spa day follow-up email should be recognisable as a message from the venue the customer visited. It should also be careful about what it assumes.
A guest may have used only part of the facilities or accompanied someone else. A Wi-Fi connection does not tell you which treatment they received or why they booked.
Begin with a simple thank-you and a useful next step.
Keep the message grounded in the visit
Use neutral wording when you do not have confirmed service information. "Thank you for visiting" is appropriate across several kinds of visit.
Avoid claims about health improvements or personal needs. Marketing records should not be used to infer sensitive circumstances.
If you provide aftercare advice, it belongs in the process managed by the qualified team for the actual service. A general promotional email is not a substitute.
Decide whether the message is asking for feedback or introducing another booking. Giving it one main action keeps it easier to use.
Link to the current experience
A return invitation should lead to accurate package information. Explain what is included and where suitability or booking questions should be directed.
Check that photographs represent the experience being sold. Facilities shown in a hotel image may not all be included in a day package.
If availability or prices change, the destination page should stay current. Avoid placing a short-lived offer inside an ongoing automation without an expiry review.
Margovy's guest-page and follow-up features can link to your existing booking system. They do not establish treatment history from guest Wi-Fi.
Give guests control over marketing
Make the marketing choice clear during sign-in and respect it in later messages. Wi-Fi access should remain available when a guest declines promotional updates.
Explain your use of personal information through the appropriate venue notices. The ICO's direct marketing guidance provides the broader framework for collection and preferences.
Read replies for signs that the message was irrelevant or poorly timed. Those comments are useful when reviewing the sequence.

Check the experience of receiving and acting
Open the email on a phone and follow the booking link. Confirm the visitor reaches the correct day package rather than a room-only reservation screen.
Use completed bookings and direct enquiries to assess response. A click shows interest, not a confirmed spa visit.
For a setup covering relaxation areas and reception, discuss the layout with Margovy. You can also review the guest Wi-Fi setup process before deciding where digital information belongs in the visit.
