What guests are asked for

An email address, and anything else you choose to add.

Every guest is asked for an email address. That is the only box they have to fill in, and a new venue starts with nothing else.

To ask for more, open Wi-Fi sign-in page, then the Fields tab. You can add a first name, a last name, a mobile number, a birthday, a postcode, why they are visiting, a short or long written answer, a choice from a list of your own, or a star rating. Mark each one required or optional.

Keep it short. Every extra box is another reason for a guest to give up, and another piece of personal data you have to look after.

A required field is a nudge, not a gate. A guest who skips one still gets online.

Answers appear on the guest’s page in Customers. The consent tick boxes are separate, and they are covered in the next article.

Changes to your fields save with their own Save button on that tab. They are not part of Publish changes, so asking for something new is always a deliberate step of its own.

If this did not solve it

Send us a message. Tell us the venue name and what you were doing when it went wrong, and a person will reply.
